Inbox Curtain does not collect, sell or share personal data. It has no analytics, tracking or advertising.
On Gmail and Outlook web pages, it reads the subject, sender address and labels of messages already shown in your inbox list, only inside your browser, to decide which messages match your urgent rules. It does not read message bodies, does not modify or send email, and never transmits this information.
Your settings, rules, daily check counts and (if you buy Pro) your licence code are stored with Chrome's storage API on your device. Settings use Chrome sync storage, so if you have Chrome Sync turned on, Google syncs them between your own browsers; we cannot access them.
Pro licence codes are verified entirely offline inside the extension using a cryptographic (Ed25519) signature. The extension makes no network requests of its own: nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, ever.
